Sarah Cawley is an American cinematographer known for 'Manifest,' 'Golden Boy,' and 'Ringer.' Variety Magazine placed her on their list of '10 Cinematographers to Watch' in 2006 citing her work on both feature films and network television, including her first episodic stint on ABC's 'Ugly Betty,' stating "Sarah Cawley seems to know how to make any medium work visually."
In 2014 Cawley photographed the historic period pilot for 'Salem,' which won multiple awards and launched original programming for WGN/Tribune network with a record-breaking 1.5 million viewers for the show's debut.
Her films have screened at the Sundance, GenArt, Telluride, Toronto International and Berlinale Film Festivals with recent festival wins at the New York Shorts International Film Festival (2019,) Southeast New England Film Festival (2019,) and Middleburg New Filmmakers Festival (2018.)
Music video highlights include REM's 'Crush with Eyeliner' with director Jim McKay, 'Tree's Lounge' with Steve Buscemi, and various projects with Jem Cohen.

A distance runner and triathlete, Cawley was an architectural lighting designer at Kugler Tillotson Associates in Manhattan before committing to cinematography as a career.
